Workshop Wednesday Gaiden: Axe of the Black Labyrinth

This Workshop Wednesday is going to be a little bit different than normal. Namely, it’s clearly both completely out of the blue (Hi! Welcome!

Hey there, and welcome to the Sustain a Spell blog. Here you’ll find weekly posts featuring monster analyses, homebrew items, adventure hooks, and more! Aside from my scheduled posts (which I will endeavor to keep up with as much as possible, with the occasional week off), I’ll also be posting less regular material, such as homebrew archetypes, monsters, or even fiction set in the world of Golarion.

You can use the calendar below to see what’s planned for each day. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will feature regular content, with other days remaining open for additional projects of mine. For regular content, you can expect the following:

Monster Mondays: A post where I take a monster, look at its stats, and figure out what tactics it would employ both in battle and in a narrative. This monster sets the tone for the following posts

Workshop Wednesdays: In these posts, I post some mechanical content inspired by the monster of the week. This could be an item, a feat, a template, a spell, or possibly something even more complex, should I have enough inspiration.

Fiction Fridays: Here, using the week’s chosen monster, the mechanical content from Wednesday, or both, I’ll present some piece of fiction. This could be an adventure hook, a short story, a poem if I’m feeling particularly adventurous, or something else along those lines.

After that, we’ll rinse and repeat starting the following Monday.
